The versatility of Erieview Metal Treating required us to solve the problem of damaged threads when processing larger size bolts; ¾” diameter or 6” in length and larger.
When processing these types of products in a spin coating line, the threads can often gate damaged, and although spray coating prevents the damage, the cost is significantly higher.
Erieview worked with the process line manufacturer to develop a coating line that allows for fewer drops plus manual loading and unloading to prevent product damage. This new line allows Erieview Metal Treating to process large bolts with less thread damage at a lower cost than spray coating with current customer acceptance rate over 99.5.
